Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 25, 2026
PikaLex (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides PikaLex, a word-learning app designed for young children and families. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app uses, how it is handled, and how parents or guardians can contact us.
PikaLex is designed to avoid collecting personal information from children. The app does not require an account and does not ask children to provide their name, email address, date of birth, photo, voice recording, precise location, contacts, or other personal information.
Information stored on the device
PikaLex stores learning preferences and progress locally on the device, such as selected language, age group, image style, game progress, word statistics, rewards, and daily play limits.
This information stays on the device and is used only to provide the app experience. We do not use it for advertising, tracking, profiling, or selling data. You can delete this local information by deleting the app or clearing the app’s data from the device settings.
Purchases and subscriptions
PikaLex offers optional Premium access through in-app purchases, including subscriptions and/or a lifetime purchase. Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store payment card numbers, billing addresses, or payment account passwords.
We use RevenueCat to manage purchase validation, subscription status, restore purchases, and Premium access. For this purpose, RevenueCat may receive limited purchase-related information such as purchase history, product identifiers, entitlement status, platform, app version, country or locale, currency, and an anonymous app user identifier. We do not send RevenueCat a child’s name, email address, advertising identifier, or custom account profile, because PikaLex does not have user accounts.
Optional content downloads
PikaLex may download additional app content, such as language audio or image packs, using Apple or Google app distribution services. These downloads are used only to provide app content inside PikaLex.
AI services
We do not send children’s personal data to AI services.
What we do not collect
PikaLex does not collect or use:
- child names, emails, birthdays, photos, voice recordings, contacts, or messages;
- precise location;
- camera or microphone data;
- advertising identifiers such as IDFA or AAID;
- third-party advertising data;
- behavioral advertising or tracking data;
- social media, chat, or user-generated content.
Advertising and tracking
PikaLex does not show third-party ads. We do not sell personal information. We do not track users across apps or websites. We do not use data for targeted advertising.
Parental gate
Links outside the app, support contact, and purchase-related areas are placed behind a parental gate where appropriate, so that they are intended for use by a parent or guardian.
Support emails
If a parent or guardian contacts us by email, we will receive the email address and any information included in the message. We use this information only to respond to the request, provide support, investigate purchase issues, or handle privacy requests. Please do not send personal information about a child unless it is necessary for the support request.
Third-party service providers
RevenueCat
Used to validate purchases, manage subscriptions, restore purchases, and activate Premium access.

Apple App Store and Google Play
Used for app distribution, in-app purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and related store services. Apple and Google handle payments under their own privacy policies.
Data retention and deletion
Local app progress and settings remain on the device until the app is deleted or the app data is cleared.
Purchase records may be retained by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or us as needed for subscription management, purchase restoration, fraud prevention, refunds, legal compliance, accounting, and support.
Parents or guardians may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information that we control. Because PikaLex does not create user accounts and does not collect child profiles, most app progress data can be removed directly by deleting the app or clearing app data. Some purchase and transaction records may need to be retained by app stores or payment providers for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or subscription-management reasons.
Children’s privacy
PikaLex is intended for use by children with parent or guardian supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information handled by the app and our service providers. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, but we limit data collection to what is needed for the app to work.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, service providers, legal requirements, or store requirements change. When we update it, we will change the “Last updated” date above.
